Knobel prepares for the future
The PR agency Knobel has joined the Hotz Group. Peter P. Knobel has settled his succession by integrating his agency into a successful communications services network, while also strengthening the position of the agency in the field of corporate communications. The name and staff of this PR agency, well-known throughout Switzerland, will remain unchanged.

       For the third time successfully certified
       Already in 2005 Dr. Peter P. Knobel, Inc. had submitted
       for a checking of its agency and project management
       qualities in regard to compliance with highest
       internationally accepted quality standards of the
       communication industry. Thus, the agency was the first PR
       consultancy in Switzerland to be awarded the CMS II certificate.
       According to plan, in 2009 the agency for the third time had to
       pass a CMS assessment. The auditor re-confirmed: “the high
       degree of compliance with the requirements of the Consultancy
       Management Standards and the proof of best practices of
       Dr. Peter P. Knobel, Inc.”, and congratulated the agency to
       “the successful recertification in accordance with CMS II.”

 Knobel brings VTHS and Hakle together
 Dr. Peter P. Knobel, Inc. did initiate a co-operation of Hakle with
 the Swiss Association of Therapeutic Dogs’ Owners (VTHS). This
 created a win-win situation for both parties: Hakle sponsors an
 institution that perfectly fits their brands’ personification, the
 puppy dog. And VTHS did win new donators thank to the Hakle
 promotion. In order to manifest the co-operation, on behalf of
 Hakle the agency has created a portrait brochure of VTHS,
 celebrating the association’s 15th anniversary.

  is the reason on why Ernst & Young decided in favor of Fujitsu
  Technology Solutions, our PR client. Our Senior Consultant
  Silvia Finke had the brilliant idea to monitor the experiences
  of both IT project managers in a very personal log book – a
  unique project diary was born. In a serial of six comprehensive
  logbook entries the managers involved are granting an intimate
  insight into what they are doing. Achievements are covered as
  well as mishaps and doubts.

  We care for Nord Stream’s guests at the Ice Hockey
  Word Championships

  Nord Stream, the joint-venture company of Gazprom,
  Wintershall, and E.ON Ruhrgas, mandated Dr. Peter P. Knobel,
  Inc. with the hosting of their VIPs, who had been invited to
  experience the 2009 Ice Hockey World Championships. Before,
  during, and after the games the agency cared for the sense of
  well-being of the guests and the management. The fact that
  Russia was the well-deserved world champion finally even made
  the icing on the cake.

Annual Report - what is compulsory, what is desirable?
More than 70 attendants followed the invitation to the 11th Forum for Small and Medium Sized enterprises (SME). The topic of the March 23, 2009 event was “Annual Report – What is Compulsory, what is Desirable?” The forum was hosted by the Institute of Financial Services of the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. The three speakers Thomas Hegglin, Angelika Gaetzi-Staub, and Peter P. Knobel, Ph.D. succeeded to generate great interest. To the slides presented (in German).

Assignment of Peter P. Knobel as juror of the "debating youth tournament"
Under the patronage of the Swiss Conference of Cantonal Ministers of Education (EDK) a national debating youth tournament will be organized. The finals taking place on May 30 in Berne will be broadcasted by radio DRS 3. Open to the public a pre-selection among 32 participants from age 13 until age 20 will be conducted in Zug on May 6.
